YWCA Vocational Training Opportunity Centre trainees have graduated

DECEMBER 2018

In December 2018, Nagarani a/p Tabitha together with her peers graduated from the YWCA Vocational Training Opportunity Centre. She has completed her one-year course in Culinary and Bakery. Young and gregarious, Nagarani was also the Vice President of the Student Welfare Council and organised many activities for other students in the centre.

Growing up, Nagarani lived in a welfare home but remained in contact with her family throughout the years. “The day I received my Certificate, I was speechless. I finally achieved my dream and made my loved ones beam with pride” she said.

Nagarani is known for baking delicious butter cakes.

She was recently employed as an Assistant Chef with the Royal Cabin Cruise Company and is stationed in Singapore.

It is great to know that Nagarani and the four trainees supported by SPB are moving forward to the next chapter in their lives. We wish them all the best with their future endeavours.
