COMMUNITY PARTNERS
SPB believes in giving back to the community and we do this by supporting projects that have a powerful, positive impact on society as a whole as well as those who are in need.
Selayang Mulia Low Cost (SMLC), a project developed by SPB was completed in 2008. It comprises of two blocks of 744 units of residences and 44 units of shops.
We started our CSR activities with SMLC residents in 2015 when we repaired damaged facilities. In our journey to continue improving the quality of life for SMLC residents, SPB initiated a tuition centre.
In 2016, two units of tuition centre were set up for school-going children aged between 10 and 16 years old living in the flats. The tutors, Cikgu Shalini and Cikgu Rahman deliver their classes every weeknight covering various school subjects and preparing students for their examinations. Currently, there is an enrolment of 31 students.
In the last two years, SPB has committed to a sponsorship of utility fees, registration fees, examination workshops and stationeries as well as Hari Raya celebration with students, parents and teachers.
